Gooey Cinnamon Rolls

Soft, pillowy rolls swirled with cinnamon sugar and glazed with cream cheese icing.

Ingredients

Method

  1. DoughMix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, milk, melted butter and eggs; knead 8 minutes until smooth. Cover and rise 1 hour until doubled.

  2. FillRoll out to 12×18 inches. Spread with the soft butter and sprinkle with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up tightly from the long side and cut into 12 rolls.

  3. Second risePlace in a greased 9×13-inch pan, cover and rise 30 minutes.

  4. BakeBake at 350°F for 22 to 25 minutes until golden.

  5. IceBeat the cream cheese and powdered sugar with a splash of milk. Spread over the warm rolls.

Editor’s tip. Cut the rolls with unflavored dental floss. A knife squashes the spiral; floss slices through cleanly.
